108 updates for Talon
October 2026
Congress answers show a card(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
Asking whether Congress has traded a stock now shows a card with totals, a monthly chart of filings, filing sizes, whose account held them and the latest filings. On a phone, the filing-size rows and chart labels now show in full.
Congress answers chart the price with filings marked(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
A question about a stock's congressional trades now shows its price over two years with every filing marked on it. You can switch between Filed, Traded and Both, and it opens on Filed.
New /congress command(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
Type /congress to see which stocks members of Congress have traded recently, ranked by how many members traded each. Type /congress NVDA, or another ticker, to see that stock's filings. The bare command stays market-wide on any page.
Ticker cards show the company name and industry(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
Single-ticker cards now have a line under the ticker with the company name and industry. Tap it to open a short description of what the company does and a link to its website.
Map tab on the Hero(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
On desktop, the Hero has a new Map tab. It shows the GEX/VEX map for Scalp, Swing or Position, with each horizon's largest node side by side. Pick a horizon from that strip.
Heatmap under the canvas chart(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
On desktop, the Talon canvas can show a focused GEX/VEX heatmap under the chart. Turn it on once and it stays on. It has a GEX/VEX toggle, Top nodes, two ask chips, a Heatseeker link and Expand.
Protege and Lifetime bootcamp members can open Talon(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
Protege and Lifetime bootcamp members can now open Talon from the page and the nav. Pro members opening Talon from the phone module switcher no longer see "Restricted". The Atlas paywall now says "Atlas isn't in your plan".
Earnings and contract questions use your last ticker(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
If you ask about earnings or option contracts without naming a ticker, Talon now answers right away for the symbol you were just on and says which symbol it assumed. Before, it asked you for the ticker.
Scan progress reads as a sentence(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
The live line under a running scan now reads as a sentence, for example "Scanned 8 of 20 in your Favorites watchlist · 8 setups so far". A one-ticker scan says "Scanned NVDA".
Talon answers instead of showing an error(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
If a data source or Talon's answer step fails partway through, Talon now answers from what it has, or shows a short try-again notice. It no longer ends on "Something went wrong on our side", and the answer stays in your history.
Hero positioning read leads with the finding(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
The positioning read at the top of the Hero now opens with what the book shows, then how price is behaving, then the one level that matters. It reads as three short sentences instead of one long one.
Flow tab opens on three asks at the top(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
On the Hero's Flow tab, the asks are now one row of three buttons at the top: Flow at the target, Largest prints and Case against. After you tap one, it keeps its name beside "in chat" and takes you to that answer.
Hero read has one Ask Talon, and Deeper read is gone(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
Ask Talon now sits at the end of the read paragraph. The Deeper read option is removed. Once answered, the chip reads Show in chat and jumps to that answer. Heatseeker and Atlas links now show the product mark and ticker.
The canvas stays put on chat-only answers(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
When an answer from a canvas chip is text only, the canvas now stays on your scan or Hero instead of switching to the index. Boards you stepped back to with ‹ › or opened with ≡ also stay until something new is added.
Retry on answers interrupted by a page reload(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
The "That answer was interrupted when the page reloaded" message now has a Retry chip. Tap it to ask the same question again without retyping.
Optics theme for fiber-optics scans(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
You can now scan the fiber-optics names as one group with /talon theme optics or /scan optics. Asking Talon about optics or fiber-optic setups in chat works too, and optics now appears in the /talon theme palette.
Hero Hero card gets a Deeper read option(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
The positioning card on the Talon Hero now has a "Deeper read" option that gives a longer written read of the ticker's positioning.
Hero read sits beside the card, tabs below(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
On a one-ticker answer with the positioning read, the read now sits beside the card, with Next 5 sessions listing events from the next five trading days. The Summary, Flow and Against / With tabs run full width below.
Hero and flow read follow your Reading settings(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
Size, Type and Line spacing in the Reading panel now apply to the Hero, its tabs, the Results rail and the flow read, on the canvas, in chat and in the phone sheet. A one-name answer's inline Hero also follows Size.
Answers now link to the chart(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
Prices on scan rows, report cards, trade maps and Trinity rungs link to the matching chart line. Clicking one focuses that level, and Esc clears it. The card chart icon draws the row's stop, entry and targets, and trade maps get the icon.
Overlapping chart levels show every label(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
When Talon's levels overlap with your picked setup's levels on the canvas chart, the chip now lists every label. Identical labels show a count.
Side-named universe scans answer in about a second(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
Universe scans that name a side, bullish or bearish, now come back in about a second and cover the whole list, instead of timing out with part of the market unread.
Stored scan results can be up to 5 minutes old(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
During the session, a universe scan can now come back from a stored result up to 5 minutes old, and the report states its age. This replaces the earlier limit of two minutes.
Canvas chart draws one line per level(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
When a picked card's entry or target sits on one of Talon's marked levels, the canvas chart now shows that level's own line and name. It no longer shows a thicker merged line with a combined label.
The empty canvas now opens on a home board(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
The empty canvas shows one chart card with the ticker, price and session. Below it are "Ask about" chips and a "Pick up" list, plus a one-line What's new. First visits list four prompts with "Try Talon" and "Skip".
Hero tabs are now a segmented control(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
Summary, Flow and Against / With now sit in a segmented control with the open tab highlighted. Lists, spacing and labels line up across the tabs, and the Flow chart and unusual cards fill the full width.
Trade map card shows when the answer has no map text(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
A trade map card now appears after Talon's narration even when the answer text has no map section. Before, only the narration showed.
Scan report shows Coverage once(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
Scan reports no longer repeat the Coverage block as text under the card. It shows once, on the card.
Copy a whole Talon answer as Markdown(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
A Copy control now sits beside the thumbs under each Talon answer. It copies the whole answer as Markdown, cards included.
Flow reads call a small net balanced(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
On evidence cards, a small net flow now reads as balanced and does not say it agrees or diverges with price. The strike line also says when bought calls or puts lean with or against the setup, and shows the expiry's scope beside the expiry.
"Best plays" runs a scan, and "week" is not a ticker(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
Asking Talon for the best plays, such as for this week or tomorrow, now runs a market scan instead of a web search. Date words like "week" are no longer read as a ticker, so no WEEK chip appears.
Plain universe scans show a stored result with its age(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
A plain universe scan during the session now comes back from a stored whole-market result up to 3 minutes old, and the report states its age. It covers the whole list instead of sometimes being cut short.
Flow tab shows the full flow read(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
On the full page, the Flow tab now shows the full flow read inline instead of a short read with a hop to the canvas. Positioning actions are renamed, for example "heatmap in Heatseeker", "chart in Atlas" and "Ask Talon what this means".
Long Takeovers stack tall instead of side(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
When a Takeover is too long for the pane in both layouts, it now stacks tall and scrolls instead of using the side layout with an empty middle. Side is used only when the whole Takeover fits on one screen.
Flow read on the canvas returns to where you were(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
Closing the flow read with ‹ Board or Esc now returns to the board or Hero it was opened from, not the scan grid. The "Everything unusual" cards now sit directly under the chart.
Phone sheet no longer lifts over a missing keyboard(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
On a phone, the Talon sheet no longer fills the screen with empty space under the composer after the keyboard has gone away.
Scan report no longer scrolls sideways(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
Long lines in the scan report now wrap inside the card at every width. Extra header lines, such as gate counts and the market-structure table, show as wrapped lines below the header.
Scan header is tidier and earnings names get an ER badge(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
The scan report header now leads with the snapshot time, with universe, result and lean on one wrapped line. The earnings section has an amber rule and calendar icon, and cards for names in it show an ER badge.
September 2026
"Today" questions now compare against today's session(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
Asking how a level or the book changed "today", "since the open" or "this morning" now compares against the first board of today's session instead of yesterday's close. Weekday names like "since Monday" ask you to use a span such as "1 week".
Universe scans return in about a second(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
/talon universe scans at every horizon except Day now come back in about a second and cover the whole list. During the session a result can be up to two minutes old, and the report says so.
The evidence read is now on read cards(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
Read cards now show the evidence read: Unusual now, Flow, Against / With and Sources. Against and With show five rows each with the rest behind "+N more". Sources lists Tape and Earnings, and Prints says how many contracts were read.
The detail view now leads with a positioning read(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
The detail view behind a Talon card now opens with a read of GEX and VEX positioning, with tabs for Summary, Flow and Against / With. The Flow row has a Full flow read menu, and each finding has an Ask Talon chip.
Trade map counter-structure note checks every expiry(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
On Scalp, Day and Position trade maps, the Counter-structure risk note now names the strongest opposite-side level across all expiries. Entries, targets and stops are unchanged.
/talon weekly opens this week, with a Next week chip(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
/talon weekly now covers the current week, and you can ask for next week or this week. A Next week chip sits under the report, and a This week chip sits under a next-week report. The current week's report is headed "What I Am Watching This Week".
Canvas uses your Atlas chart settings(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
The canvas chart now starts from your saved Atlas chart settings: palette, candle style, Dark Pool setup, Volume · Net pane and interval. New Time and Zoom controls sit on the canvas strip.
Canvas chips run on tap and show where answers land(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
Tapping a suggestion on the canvas now runs it at once. When an answer lands on the canvas, the chat keeps a one-line summary and the new card is highlighted. "New answer" and "New ↑" appear if you have scrolled away.
Canvas follows Reading settings and shows what moved(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
Reading size, Type and Line spacing now apply to canvas cards. A newer card shows a "Moved since" line with changed values. Option+[ and Option+] step between boards, and Option+ opens the board index.
Results rail is easier to read and follows your pick(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
In the Takeover, picking a result now charts it, with its stop and targets drawn. A Follow Results toggle is on the chart strip. You can drag the rail's edge to resize it, and group headings are easier to read.
Every card follows the Horizon pill(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
Cards now show the lanes of the horizon named in the Horizon pill: Scalp shows Short-term, Swing adds Swing, and Position shows all three. A one-name card says when the chosen horizon has no trade.
A ticker after a scan opens a fresh canvas board(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
Asking about a ticker after running a scan now opens a fresh board on the canvas instead of replacing the scan.
/screen air pockets and rugs show as an aligned table(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
/screen air-pockets and /screen rugs now show results as a table with aligned columns that scrolls sideways inside the answer when it is wide, instead of run-together text.
Clicking a watchlist card opens its full card(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
On a watchlist scan, clicking a card now opens that name's full card instead of an error that replaced the whole report.
Android keyboard no longer hides the composer(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
On Android Chrome, tapping the Talon composer no longer blanks the screen below the header or types text backwards.
Stacked Kings shows the real distance between levels(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
When two big options levels are close but not exactly lined up, Talon now shows how far apart they actually are instead of a much smaller number that made them look closer than they were.
Trade map no longer offers a wrong-way level as a target(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
A level that would work against your trade is now shown as a barrier instead of being offered as a target with a reward figure.
New /screen command for kings, stacks and gaps(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
Type /screen to search for big options levels, stacked levels, air pockets or rugs, with ready-made presets and options like distance, side and favorites right from the command menu.
Stacked Kings follow-up questions now work(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
Asking a follow-up about a Stacked Kings result now runs a fresh search instead of failing. Asking without naming a ticker now searches the whole market, even on a single ticker's page.
Detailed trade map view now needs Deep effort(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
The full detailed trade map, with more evidence behind the trade, now shows only when your effort is set to Deep. Warning notes on a trade map still show at every effort level.
King Screen now covers more tickers(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
King Screen no longer leaves out tickers that don't have an options-based expected move. Their cards note that the distance shown is based on their typical recent price swings instead.
Weekly report reads better on a phone(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
The weekly report's summary and sector sections are now short rows and a table that fit a phone screen, instead of sentences that wrapped awkwardly.
Trade map targets show a clean exposure number(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
The exposure figure under a trade map target now reads as a short number instead of a long raw decimal.
Interrupted turns no longer slow down your next question(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
If a question got cut off by a reload or Stop, Talon no longer treats it as part of your next question, which had sometimes made the next reply run long or fail.
One bad trade map no longer fails your whole answer(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
If Talon can't build a trade map for one name, that name's map is skipped instead of your entire answer failing.
More names are readable in scans again(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
Some names were showing as unavailable at every horizon because of a timestamp issue. Talon now reads them correctly, so they show up in scans again.
Warning icons line up with their sentence(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
Warning notes in trade map and scan cards now show the warning icon next to its sentence instead of floating on a line above it.
Weekly report now builds itself fresh(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
/talon weekly report now puts together your report each time you ask, with setups grouped by sector. Its commentary sections now fill in reliably instead of falling back to plain generic text.
King Screen: find a single big options level(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
Ask Talon about King Screen to find tickers where one options level towers over the rest, far from the current price, including shorter-dated and single-expiration setups. It now checks far more of the market and turns up more results than before.
Market and watchlist scans check far more names(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
Scanning the whole market, a sector or your watchlist no longer stops early. Talon now reads far more of the board in the same scan, so fewer names get left unchecked.
Universe and watchlist scans list every setup(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
/talon universe and watchlist scans now list every setup marked Cleared every gate or One gate short, with targets for each. Add --all to see every row, or --min-exposure to change which names count. The market overview again shows the share of activity above price.
/talon universe --top narrows to biggest books(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
/talon universe --top lets you narrow results to just the names with the most options exposure, so you can focus on the biggest books first.
Takeover shows every section of a scan at once(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
Opening a scan's Takeover view now lists every section of the answer together, with headings and counts, so you can step through them in one list. A single-ticker Takeover shows just that card at full width, with Back to answer replacing the close button.
Failed steps show clearly in Talon's progress(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
If a step in Talon's progress trail fails, it now shows as failed instead of getting stuck on reading. Screen readers also now reliably announce each step as it happens.
Palette picker shows named preview tiles(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
The appearance panel's palette picker now shows a grid of named preview tiles for each color option, instead of small dots, making it easier to tell them apart and choose one.
Sector scans show which names actually trade options(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
Sector scans now show how many names in the sector have an options book to read, and note how many don't instead of listing them as failures. The bull/bear count no longer includes the sector's benchmark ETFs, so it reflects companies only.
Favorites and list scans get through far more names(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
Scanning your favorites or a saved list no longer stops after checking just a handful of names and marking the rest as not evaluated. Talon now works through many more names in the same scan, so fewer get left unchecked.
Stacked Kings: find lined up options levels(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
Ask Talon about Stacked Kings to find tickers where two big options levels line up at the same price, across the market, favorites, a list, sector or theme. Filter by size, distance to price and side, sort the results, and ask to see all for smaller stacks too.
Talon shows its progress on longer answers(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
While Talon works on a longer answer, you now see a step by step trail of what it's doing instead of a blank wait. If a turn fails, Retry picks up with what it already found instead of starting over.
/trinity holds back Conviction and Timing(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
/trinity no longer shows Conviction or Timing rows while their numbers are being confirmed. Its card is now headed Trinity Read instead of its earlier name.
Smoother card evidence, Hero shows one rail(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
Opening a scan card's evidence now animates smoothly instead of jumping, on the full Talon page, in chat and on phones. The Hero card for one ticker shows a single price rail for its trade, with other trades folded into buttons that still show their prices.
A command row sits above the composer(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
Talon now shows a row of one tap commands for the page you're on, right above the composer, so you can run them without typing a slash command.
Every card shows all four horizons(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
Trade map and scan cards now show all four horizons: Scalp, Day, Swing and Position. Switch one on a card or in the composer and every card on screen updates instantly. After the close, a Scalp read shows the next listed expiry instead of refusing.
A bigger Hero card for one-ticker answers(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
When you ask about one ticker, Talon's setup card now opens larger, with a Confluence tab showing flow, positioning, dark pool prints and other evidence behind the trade. Other trades collapse into buttons that still show their prices.
Canvas chart draws Talon's levels automatically(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
The chart on the /talon canvas now marks the levels Talon just described without you tapping anything, matches the same gamma or vanna reading behind the words, and widens its price range so every level stays in view. An optional flow view can be turned on beside it.
Tapping a card's ticker updates the chart, not Atlas(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
On /talon, tapping a scan card's ticker now changes the chart shown above the conversation instead of leaving Talon for Atlas. The card's menu also has a Chart on canvas option that does the same.
Trade map times now show Eastern time(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
The trade map's timestamp at the bottom now reads in Eastern time, matching the close, instead of raw UTC with no offset.
Slash-command list names match more easily(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
Typing a saved list's name in the / menu, like /watchlist Noah's, now finds it regardless of quote style, spacing or capitalization.
Queue a question while Talon answers(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
You can send your next question while Talon is still answering. Up to three wait in a queue, so you never wait to type.
Steadier Talon on phones(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
On a phone, the composer and slash menu stay above the keyboard, and the conversation no longer jumps while you scroll.
Detail and Layout on scan results(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
Scan results and trade maps have separate Detail and Layout controls, so you can make a result denser or roomier without a new read.
Clearer scan cards(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
Scan cards show the invalidation, entry reference and the levels the structure points to on one line, with each level's expiry and risk-to-reward, so the structure reads at a glance.
Market breadth with /breadth(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
/breadth shows how many S&P 500 and Nasdaq 100 names are advancing versus declining, so you can see whether a move is broad or narrow.
Live chart on the full page(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
The /talon canvas shows a live chart of the symbol you are discussing, in your Atlas chart style, so price sits beside the answer.
Insider and Congress filings(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
You can ask whether insiders have traded a stock, or whether members of Congress traded it, including on Company events.
Flow beyond today's session(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
You can ask about a ticker's busiest contracts over the past week or month, with the strikes carrying the activity and which side the trades were on.
Talon's levels on the canvas chart(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
Talon can mark its answer's levels on the canvas chart, from the same gamma or vanna map it read, so the picture matches the words.
/watchlist reads your whole list(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
/watchlist now reads every name on your list, not just the first 30, and ranks the names whose structure qualifies, so nothing gets skipped.
Market tape and Swap on the full page(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
The /talon page shows SPX, SPY, QQQ and CVIX with switchable sparklines across the top, and Swap flips the chat and canvas panes.
Whole-market scans(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
/talon universe now scans the whole market, and its Scanned line shows how many names it covered. You can narrow it to stocks or ETFs.
More sectors and themes to scan(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
You can now scan cybersecurity as a sector, plus seven new themes: neoclouds, hyperscalers, defense, nuclear, quantum, robotics and space.
Earnings dates nearby(in the Talon guide, opens the docs in a new tab)
When a single name reports within seven days of the data's date, Talon adds a line saying so, so a report does not surprise you.
